Members meet for Dinner on the first Thursday of each month (except January) at The Canterbury International Hotel, 326 Canterbury Road, Forest Hill at 6.30 pm for 7 pm. (See Contact Us Page for details and a map)
Guest speakers address the Club on a variety of topics of interest to members, and relevant to Zonta’s objectives. Past speakers have included members of parliament, medical professionals and representatives from groups pertaining to women’s health and well-being, representatives from prominent welfare groups such as families in crisis and motivational speakers who encourage members to improve their lives, both professionally and personally.
Groups seeking our support will also address us to explain their needs. From time to time, Zontians in official positions will report on Zonta activities at an Area, District, or International level.
If you wish to attend a meeting, please email us by the Monday before.
The Board meets monthly between General Meetings. All members are encouraged to stand for an elected position and be a part of this decision-making body.
All issues affecting members with appropriate recommendations are presented at the next monthly General meeting.
